We wanted to try something new this year and we stumbled across this fun idea and event-The Pet Blogger Gift Exchange is hosted by Something Wagging This Way Comes and I Still Want More Puppies For the Pet Blogger Gift Exchange, Bloggers are randomly paired with another Blog to get to know one another and give some social media love to each other. This is a great way to make some new friends and give back to other Bloggers too.
We were paired with Pawsitively Pets and we wanted to take our time to thoroughly explore our new friend's Blog and social media.
The Blog's author is Ann, and she is the stay-at home mom of two beautiful little girls in addition to all of her animal kids. Ann has had lots of experience with a myriad of animals in her previous years as a Veterinary Technician. She began her Blog in October 2012 and has had it now for a little over a year (they celebrated their Blogiversary here).
We were thrilled to be paired with a Blog that features such an array of animalia!
There is a dog, a rat, and even a couple of goldfish!
Let us tell you a bit about each of these animals.
The dog's name is Shiner. She's a 10 year old (same age as Bella!) Pit Bull. We were fascinated to find out that Shiner has crinkly ears which result from ear hematoma-check out Pawsitively Pets awesome Blog Post about it.
Nibblet is a cute little rat (she reminds mom of her middle school teacher's friendly rat who got to come out and play after the lectures).
The two goldfish are Dorito and Lucy-what fun names! We'd love to see more of these little ones.

We also discovered that the Blog is not only about the wonderful animals mentioned above. Pawsitively Pets also has fun posts about Ancient Dog Breeds, how to tell if your dog is in pain, and bringing balance to yours and your dog's lives among many more intriguing topics. Nibblet seems like quite the cuddle bug! We really enjoy seeing a rat who is included and part of the family. This picture is from their Instagram
